Web Based Databases
Web based databases can be designed and applications developed for a variety of

shopping carts, online catalogs and forums. Most web database applications are
developed with ASP or ASP.Net and MS SQL or Access depending on the needs for

Client/Server Databases
Client/Server solutions consist of shared database access amongst mulitple
users. OCS can provide complete solutions from the backend database design and
development to the front-end user application. The front-end application can
provide data entry screens, as well as data views, data queries and reports.
Databases are the latest in database technologies usually consisting of MS SQL
or Access databases. Other databases can be used depending on a customer's
requirements or existing databases.
Standalone Database Applications Standalone
applications can be developed for applications where database activity is
required for a single, individual client or user. The database usually resides
on the client or users computer along with the application used to access the
database. Normally these applications are developed using a MS Access database
and can provide the same database functionality as a client/server application.
OCS also specializes in developing database applications to replace existing
paperwork based record and filing systems. When developing a paperless system
the customer's existing paper forms are utilized to develop data entry screens
that closely follow the original forms. This provides an application that
requires a minimum of training to use the application.
